OUR CULINARY JOURNEY
Your journey begins in the capital of Catalunya—bustling Barcelona. Spend the day taking in the astounding architecture of Gaudí, exploring the Picasso Museum or sampling your way through the city’s street food scene before boarding and settling in for your day at sea. First stop, a luxurious late night stay in Málaga. For an authentic experience, head to Antigua Casa de Guardia, the oldest tavern in the city or take a scenic drive inland to the breathtaking Alhambra Fortress in Granada.
From Málaga you’ll travel to the United Kingdom—but don’t worry, you won’t have to journey far. The towering cliffs of Gibraltar have been British longer than the United States has been American and its mix of Palladian architecture, military history, English pubs, and tropical Barbary macaques make for an extraordinary day of opposites.
Wine lovers, get ready. Portugal has been producing wine for more than 2,000 years and as you’ll soon discover, Portuguese wine is about so much more than Port. Your overnight stay in Lisbon will leave plenty of time for exploring the city’s historic Alfama district, indulging in a pastel de nata or two, visiting Lisbon Castle, strolling the Rio Tejo, and getting a taste of local nightlife as you sip vinho tinto in one of the city’s stylish lounges. Then, spend the day in charming Porto, admiring the contrasts of the city’s architecture and (of course) sampling Port in the Douro Valley.

Next you’ll travel to the culinary and cultural powerhouse of Bilbao in the Basque region of northern Spain. From family-run pintxo bars to Michelin-starred restaurants, Bilbao is a foodie’s playground. Some of Spain’s best Rioja’s come from the region and txakoli—a light, aromatic white wine aperitif—is the perfect accompaniment to the city’s seafood-forward tapas.
Bordeaux is the world’s largest urban UNESCO World Heritage Site and it’s yours to explore for the next three days. Viticulture has shaped this area since the 14th century and there’s no better place to discover some of the world’s finest wines. You can also tour the Château Royal de Cognac and the Maison Hennessy to immerse yourself in one of the region’s other legendary alcoholic exports.
After wining, dining, strolling vineyards, and exploring cathedrals, you’ll spend a day at sea en route to Wales and this historic port town of Milford Haven. With one of the world’s deepest natural harbors and a strategic location, Milford Haven’s seaside ways date back to the time of the Vikings. Stroll the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, soak in the stunning Welsh scenery, and treat yourself to a Welsh cake before departing for Dublin, your final destination.

Our daily themed dinner often takes its inspiration from the region we’re visiting—Indian, Mexican, Spanish, Italian. We also create an extra live station made from local ingredients purchased in port: Greek salad made with local feta (Greece), pasta prepared with local mushrooms (Italy), fresh Mussels served with garlic bread (Netherlands). Take in the fresh breeze at an outdoor table and relax in the easy and casual atmosphere of the newly renovated Windows Café. Enjoy an intimate breakfast, lunch, or dinner for two or a lively meal for six with our flexible seating options. And speaking of choices, selections change daily. Choose from fresh sushi, stir-fry and pasta, salads, smoked lox and other cold fish, a carving station and of course, desserts
